Christmas Thank You Cards

For all the lovely Christmas gifts I received, I made some thank you cards. I must apologize, though... I constructed these without my normal set of tools (I used a glass to trace the circle). Once again, Archiver's has been my friend. It's a good thing there isn't a store within 3 hours of Steamboat; although, I'm going to be on radiation vacation, and there will be an Archiver's within striking distance. Hmmm, *tenting fingers and smiling evilly*...

P.S. What do you think of the new background? Is it too distracting?

Designer Papers:
  • Deja Views "RetroHip Christmas-Garland with Varnish"
  • Deja Views "RetroHip Christmas-Snow Swirls"
  • Deja Views "RetroHip Christmas-Chimney Blocks"
  • Prudence Collection "Temperance"

Embellishments:

  • Basic Grey "Wassail" Chipboard Stickers
  • Little Yellow Bicycle "Christmas Magic Collection" Fabric Brads

Girls' Night Picture Frame

Just a quick decorative frame project.
Made With: Center City Designs "Sutton Place Rectangles Small" coasters, Center City Designs "Sutton Place: Lever House" designer paper, Doodlebug Design Inc. "Party Mix" cardstock stickers, and Paper Bliss metal accents. (And I just realized that you can see my reflection in the glass ;) )
"But the most exciting, challening, and significant relationship of all is the one you have with yourself. And if you can find someone to love the you you love, well, that's just fabulous."

Christmas Cards

These are a few of the Christmas cards I sent out this year (didn't want to post them before people received them!). I used last year's designer paper scraps and textured cardstock. The snowflakes were made with a Martha Stewart punch and snowflake brads.

“Let us keep Christmas still a shining thing;
Whatever doubts assail us, or what fears,
Let us hold close one day, remembering
It's poignant meaning for the hearts of men.
Let us get back our childlike faith again."

Cupcake Birthday Cards

A couple quick birthday cards for my girlfriends!

The cupcake is stamped and embossed.
I used chalks to fill in the stamp and the edges of the inner circle.

I gave the card some depth, using a raised sticky dot on the inner circle.
